The Insurance Institute of India formerly known as Federation of Insurance Institutes (J.C. Setalvad Memorial) was established in the year 1955, for the purpose of promoting Insurance Education & Training in the country. The Institute is a professional body serving the cause of the Insurance Industry. The Institute conducts qualifying examinations at three basic levels: Licentiate, Associateship and Fellowship as also introductory examinations - Inspectors and Certificate in Insurance Salesmanship.
